Testimonials

Here is what our customers from all across North America saying about us and our products:

I just wanted to add a note to you about the tiles I purchased last July.  As an interior designer with a carpenter husband, we utitlize many products, and tin ceiling tiles have always been a favorite of mine.  However, as a carpenter, my husband was not fond of the installation and the inevitable bleeding hands that are part of the process.
He was extremely wary about this product when I ordered it because it is plastic.
This past week we finished our project begun this summer.  We used a number of high end treatments on the house, but by far the most commented on item for those who have toured the house has been the "tin" ceiling!  Everyone loves it, and nobody can tell it is not original tin tile.
Further, my husband asked me to write this commentary because he loves the product!  The copper finish tiles went up so fast, saving time and money.  And no bloody fingers!
We WILL buy your tile again.
Thanks!

We have installed the tiles in our LR and they are absolutely beautiful. I am an interior contractor and my Home is an 1800’s Victorian. We were shopping for a copper ceiling for quite some time and really couldn’t find the right pattern. I decided to check Ebay and not only did I find the pattern, but wow what an awesome buy!
Thanks again for the awesome product
Best Regards,
Jarrod C.

The job went fairly smoothly.  It is VERY helpful to have 2 people working on it due to the large size of the tiles.  Also, we discovered after several of the tiles were up that we should have been lining up the edge of the design, not the edge of the tile, with our chalk line, because the tiles aren’t all perfectly square.  We are very happy with the results.

The ceiling turned out beautiful, and we have had great compliments from our neighbors.  They are quite dazzled. Regards,
Sharon

I put the backsplash up this weekend. It looks great.  This is a really nice product. It is very lightweight and easy to install. My outdated kitchen got a quick makeover. It really adds detail and interest to the room. Thanks again
Christine

Hi,
We finially finished the room (almost) and everyone that sees it just can’t beleive its not real tin.  My husband is even thinking about going into the business of selling/installing them.
THANKS SO MUCH!
Linda

Well...I am happy to say that my project is finished and looks great!  I will attach some pictures...before, during, and finished.  What an amazing change!  I put 2 coats of paint on the tiles and it worked out fine with no problems.

I get all kinds of great comments on his product and it was easy to install.  It really gives this old town home charm and character...

I just spruced it up and rented the house out.  I chose the copper (backsplash) to match the existing cupboard hardware.  It was the perfect, cost effective solution.

I can't tell you how much I love my new ceilings!!!!  Once I got started I couldn't stop - so in all we did the dining room, living room, hallway and
landing going up stairs.  I have enough left to do the spare bedroom.  LOVE IT!!

We just had a party two weeks ago and no one could believe they were Styrofoam tiles.

I LOVE it and you know what?  My new kitchen cost 40K--it is high end all the way--and yet when people walk in, they comment on the ceiling first :)

I was originally going to use the squares but I have very long counters. This seamless look is so much better.  I just love it.  Very recently I had new countertops installed, and thanks to that and this gorgeous backsplash,
I have a brand new kitchen.  Of course, I guess that means I'll have to cook more, but it's worth it!  Thanks again for a great product,
and for your help with allowing me to get the extended footage.  I am so pleased!  - Carla L.

I did purchase some of your tiles off the internet and they look gorgeous in the kitchen in a 120 year old house we bought out in BC.  They looked so nice as a matter of fact I was going to be putting them upstairs in some of the bedrooms.

Thanks so much, the kitchen turned out better than I could have imagined...the roll backsplash was SO easy to install with contact cement....even in large pieces....

Just wanted to send a thank-you for a terrific product - the installation went extremely well and the results exceeded my expectations.  I've attached a shot of the finished result in my pub-styled pool room (http://www.talissadecor.com/data/gallery/305.jpg).  These replaced a VERY boring white flexible acoustic-tile ceiling.  I glued your tiles to the flexible acoustic tile and it worked GREAT!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the beautiful ceiling tiles that I purchased in January.  Our home is 80 years old and we have been working on it for quite some time. We installed them on our kitchen ceiling and it has completely transformed the look of the room.  Before, the ceiling was quite ugly - with cracks and old texture.  Installation was quite easy and within a few hours my kitchen was finally changed into the beautiful look I had envisioned.  Everyone thinks the ceiling is tin - and are quite shocked to learn of the actual composition.  I have never been so pleased with a building/decorating product as this one.

I used your polystyrene ceiling tiles in my 1920's home to cover delaminating plaster ceilings in two bedrooms. The results are absolutely awesome! Everyone loves the look. I love the fact that it could be done without the mess of plaster repair or new drywall. Both rooms have wood cove molding. We were able to make a very clean edge along the molding, avoiding another big job (and mess!) of removing the molding and damaging plaster on the walls! Thanks again for a great product.

Sincerely,

We recently purchased and installed some of your PVC ceiling tiles. The job was easy and somewhat quick even though I was working alone.  With two or more workers it would have been a breeze.
We chose a rather small guest bedroom to be our test ceiling.  It was approximately 9' X 12' and I used 48 of the 50 PVC tiles I bought  (as recommended by your web site) to cover the ceiling and give a balanced look around the sides.
(Actually used 49 of them.  Miss cut one when I was distracted.)  A little more waste but a more professional result.
After some trial and error with the first few tiles, I used quite a lot of adhesive, 3.5 gallons, to make sure the tiles stuck to the "popcorn" ceiling.
Seems excessive now, but at the time, the more adhesive I applied the better they stuck and the more evenly they covered.  No lumps and bumps.  Just be very careful to keep it  on the back side of the tiles.
After they were up and before painting they did look kind of cheap and flimsy.  Once they were painted, using one coat of a premium "eggshell' latex paint,  they looked just fabulous.
As other customers have stated, everyone who has  seen the finished project was impressed with the result and no one had a clue as to what they were made out of.
These tiles let us rid ourselves of the ugly look of a "popcorn" ceiling without the mess and environmental concerns of removing and disposing of the original, and potentially asbestos tainted, ceiling material.
As we continue to remodel we plan on using more of you tiles.

Sincerely,
Richard S., California

OMG, I absolutely love the tiles!  And I've painted them.

I forgot to mention that they went right over the top of ugly old popcorn.  I didn't do any prep other than run a vacuum over the ceiling quickly to remove anything that was really loose.  :)

(Polystyrene crown moldings)

I went out Tuesday morning after dropping son at school....picked up the 'no more nails' glue and then got started.  Had it all up and cleaned up by 8 pm.  The little pin trick worked real well.  Next day did the compound...Very easy. Then sanded..a little more compound. And have painted it twice. All DONE!   And I would challenge anyone to try and find a seam.

WILL NEVER GO BACK TO WOOD.
